Green tea is a product made from the tea plant (Camellia sinensis) that has undergone minimal oxidation during processing. As such the, the color (ranging from light green to light yellow), the caffeine content and flavor of this tea is substantially milder compared to black teas. There can be many flavor variations to  the product, due to variable growing and plucking conditions, horticulture, production processing, and harvesting time.
