Our Quality Control Division confirms high quality standards of our products by following prevention, detection & rejection procedures. Presently, we are in the process of obtaining HACCP certification. The Sri Lanka Tea Board has already awarded the Three Stars rating for the James Valley Organic Tea Factory under the Ceylon Quality Certificate.



Our Quality Control Division comprises of three distinct units, namely:

• Quality Assurance

• Quality Control

• Research & Development

The Quality Control Division monitors all the aspects of random quality checks on all the products at every stage of the process Analyses of physical, chemical and microbiological parameters are carried out using the well equipped laboratory facilities available within the premises. Some microbiological tests are done in the laboratory while few other tests are done at accredited laboratories in Colombo.

R & D section does all the development of new products & process techniques in order to keep pace with the changing demands of the customers & changes of the world.

To achieve these tasks, we have a qualified and professional team with vast experience in research activities, quality assurance.

Demeter is the brand for products from Biodynamic Agriculture in compliance with the International Demeter Production and Processing Standards.

Certification given by FLO Cert Inspection & Certification body which follows ISO standard for certification bodies (ISO65).This mark  guarantee the  sustainable development  through trade for disadvantage producers.

Ceylon Tea Quality Certificate for excellence in tea factory organization (cleanliness, consistency of operations, works discipline and motivation of the James Valley Organic Tea Factory).

Assurance given that the product meet the international standers for forest gardens product (FGP) standards coerces the bio diversity  indicator  clean environmental  aspects &  fair social  criteria and organic production methods.
